Information about the Demo-Version
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
FAME has been released under the concept of Shareware.
FAME Demo-Version has no longer any limitations except a requester which
appears every time you open a Node screen.
You are allowed to run the unregistered demo version of FAME 30 days long.
After 30 days of usage you have to register or to delete FAME.
I made an exception for door and tool coders which code FAME depending
doors/tools and are *NO* SysOps. FAME door and tool coders are allowed to
use the FAME Demo-Version as long as they are not SysOps and they write
doors/tools for FAME.
FAME Demo-Version has also a very short information delay on every logon
where it informs the caller that you run a Demo-Version.
The requester is not hard to remove, but i've decided to remove the
10 user limit code, because i don't want to have badly cracked FAME
versions spreaded around as it happened lately.
No Software is 100% secure for being cracked and so i think it's better
if people are running working cracks and no fakes and crapy cracked stuff.
Last one will only bring trouble and may destroy someones harddisk or
something similar.
People have to register FAME if they want to get the latest updates of
FAME and there are often updates, nearly every second week or more often.
I also beleave most SysOps like to get the support and they don't want to
install virus infected software so most will register one day.
Every registration also supports the development of FAME !!!
